10 characteristics of the IPHONE 7

A few years ago it was the official day of release for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and some of us were lucky enough to be able to pick up our drives early on Friday morning. For those of you who are planning to get an iPhone 7, or for those of you who may still be on the fence, take a look at the main features. Not only are the many major features of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus shown off, but some of the disappointing areas of the hardware are also addressed.

Characteristics of the Iphone 7

1. New storage capabilities. Finally, we're no longer stuck in 16GB purgatory. I've long believed that 32GB of base storage is the sweet spot, and Apple delivered.
2. Redesigned lines of antennas. Black is the perfect color to help mask antenna lines. Guess what the two new iPhone colors are?
3. Solid state start button. The new home button feels weird at first, but I'm used to it now. I don't necessarily buy the idea that Apple made this change to appease those who fear wearing out the Home button. I think this move has been in the cards for a long time, because it helps with water resistance, and it works well with the idea that the Home button could be embedded into the screen of a future iPhone. The main drawback of the new Home button is that it requires skin contact, which means it won't work properly with (non-capacitive) gloves, while your fingers are wet, etc.
4. Fusion chip A10. Apple continues to impress with its chip design. The A10 is head and shoulders above the competition with single-core performance, even beating Apple's A9X chip that powers the 12.9″ iPad Pro.
5. 3GB of RAM (iPhone 7 Plus). The extra RAM is probably used to help the iPhone 7 Plus's camera system. In any case, the iPhone 7 Plus has more RAM than any other iPhone.



6. Improved battery life. A10 Fusion is more than just raw power. It features high-efficiency cores to help with light tasks while dough is being taken. Other changes, like the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack, have helped the cause. The iPhone 7 now gets about 2 hours of extra battery life, and the iPhone 7 Plus gets an extra hour.
7. Resistance to water and dust. One of my favorite things about the Galaxy S7 is now available on my favorite phone
8. New color options. Space Gray was getting old. I'm happy to see two awesome new colors in Black and Jet Black.
9. Retina HD widescreen color display. Seeing the proper wide color photos (which the iPhone 7 is capable of taking) is pretty revealing. Extensive full color photos pop like no other.
10. Quad-LED True Tone Flash. A 50% brighter flash can help match colors for just the right look in low light.
